Aluminum alloy suited for aftermarket wheels; one of the lightest metals (specific weight 2.7 g/cm3), remarkable for its low density and for its ability to resist corrosion due to the phenomenon of passivation. Aluminum alloys are widely used in the aerospace industry and for transportation and engineering structures where light weight or corrosion resistance is required.
Magnesium alloy produced exclusively for racing (specific weight 1,74 g/cm3, 35% lighter than aluminium), is renowned for its extreme lightness, high resistance to impact and vibration. It doesn't stretch nor can it be damaged superficially by friction.
