OZ & Padua University celebrate 10 years of Formula Student
OZ and the University of Padua celebrate the 10-year mark of their partnership in the Formula SAE project, also known as Formula Student, a competition open to universities around the world that involves the design and production of an actual race car.
The project is a unique educational program, a benchmark example of cooperation between educational institutions and the business community that places students in direct contact with the work world, and combines the study, design and creation of the vehicles they can enter in the competition that each year celebrates the commitment of supporting businesses and universities around the world.
The numbers are impressive. In each competition more than 4000 students from around the globe compete to create a project that goes to the heart of the top-ranked and most dynamic international industries.
In 10 years, OZ has hosted more than 300 students, making its best engineers and most modern machinery available to them, with the aim of creating an educational program for these young people. And at the same time taking a hard look at key topics, like sustainability, environmental safeguarding and development of Italian research, all with an eye to fostering economic growth, Italian-made production and ensuring jobs for the talented youth of tomorrow.
Which is why OZ supports this project – young people are the future and the goal is to support them and to be able to continue to develop and produce technology in Italy.
